Avocado Dreaming- Merino Silk - 4ply

Avocado Dreaming is back!! This time I added the skins which has give the most incredible champagne colour! With a little touch of speckle magic I have added warm Autumn tones making this yarn a soft and warm. On our NONE superwash base Merino silk 50/50. 

Avocado Dreaming, is a little project that I under took to lift my spirts in our recent lock down. We talk a lot about self care and I truly believe that my love of hand dyeing in a big part of my self care. Experimenting with mixed medium is what I love most and so the idea or using traditional natural dyeing techniques and then applying my greater knowledge of Acid dyeing felt like it would give me time out from this new way of life and I so needed it!

The out come has been fun and I hope you will agree that the combination of  Avocado based yarn with a hint of The Wool Kitchen magic hits the spot!

This NONE superwash Merino & Silk base wonderfully luxurious yarn. You get a very soft, yet shiny yarn, perfect for shawls, socks, wraps and cardigans.

4 Ply Sock/Fingering

50% merino 50% silk

400 metres approx. per 100g

All merino from non-mulesed sheep.

All yarn is hand dyed, in small batches using the highest quality acid dyes in a smoke-free, pet free environment.

Please hand wash only when your project is finished with a wool wash to keep colour and yarn looking fresh and dry/block flat where possible.
