Hello welcome to your third instalment for your payment of The Wool Kitchen Advent calendar 2023! The final payment will be sent out at the start of October. All payments must be received for your advent to be sent to you at the end of October.

Hello and welcome to The Wool Kitchen Advent calendar 2023!

This year's advent is based on our bestselling speckled yarn - Iridium. Iridium is an element from the platinum family; it is a metal that at high temperature burns creating rainbow coloured crystals. It's is named for the Goddess Iris in Greek mythology as she is the goddess of rainbows.

Helen wanted the opportunity to break out the colours from this beautiful yarn into their spectrum families. With 24 skeins to play with, our advent will contain multiple possibilites - with a fade element from one colour into another running through but at the same time you will be able to break sections down into smaller projects.

We have given this a lot of thought to make this as affordable as possible and to help set realistic goals for daily knitting for advent projects.

We are offering a 10g mini version this year alongside our regular 20g mini offer. We believe that advent is about good yarn that you want to create with and with costs going up for everyone we wanted to focus on the yarn itself, rather than lots of extras, as that is the good stuff!

We are offering 2 options - the 20g minis (same as previous years) and 10g minis.

Add Mohair/Silk option

Owing to the success of last year's Mohair/Silk option, we are offering this again. By selecting the Mohair addition you will receive an additional 250g (5 skeins) of Kid Mohair Silk in Iridium that will perfectly complement and enhance your advent project. 

Pay in full or Pay in Instalments

You have the option to pay in full at time of ordering or in 4 monthly instalments. The initial payment of £36.25 (plus shipping which is calculated at checkout) for the 20g option or £21.25 (plus shipping) for the 10g option, will be taken today and then you will receive an invoice with payment link for 3 further payments of the same amount at the beginning of August, September and October. There will be no shipping to pay on these.

Advents will be shipped on at the end of October to enable your package to reach you in good time for 1st December.

Shipping has been calculated based on the weight of the advent skeins only. Please do not add anything else to your order for your advent, as it will not ship until the advent does.  Shipping charges are based on current Royal Mail prices, if these prices increase between now and October, there may be a small surcharge to pay or refund given if there is a drop in prices. Packages will be sent tracked and insured as this means we can know where your package is at all times.

***All yarn is hand dyed, in small batches using the highest quality acid dyes. 

Please hand wash only when your project is finished with a wool wash to keep colour and yarn looking fresh and dry/block flat where possible.

There is a limited number of Advent boxes so there is no dye to order available on this kit once it has sold out.
