Limited Edition Sock Set for Summer 2026

We are heading rapidly to the Summer Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere where the day is the longest it can be and the night the shortest. In order to celebrate this turning point in the year, Helen has dyed two different colours to symbolise day and night. 

The lighter Day represents the sunrise against the blue sky through a variegated yarn with soft hues of blue and pink with a vibrant yellow. 

The darker Night represents the dark night sky when the stars and nebulas come out to play through a variegated yarn with a violet, indigo base and neon pops of colour. 

Our Summer Solstice sock set features 100g of our vibrant Day colourway with a contrasting 20g mini in Night!

Helen's unique dye technique ensures that you get a consistent look throughout the skein meaning this is a low pooling yarn when knitting socks.

Sock 4ply Merino & Nylon 75% Superwash Merino Wool 25% Nylon, 100g Hanks, 425m per 100g. Mini Skeins 20g hanks, 85m per 20g. Super soft yet tough! High quality Merino with added Nylon for add stretch makes a perfect sock yarn yet also completely scrumptious for shawls and garments. 

All yarn is hand dyed, in small batches using the highest quality acid dyes.

All colour ways are repeatable unless noted, however, all skeins are individual due to the nature of hand dying yet are dyed in batches for multi skein projects and garments. 

Colour is as true to picture as possible but devices may vary.

Care

Please hand wash only when your project is finished with a wool wash to keep colour and yarn looking fresh and dry/block flat where possible.
